Dawn is an experienced NHS leader who is committed to providing high-quality, sustainable services for patients. She is known for finding practical solutions, leading with integrity, and helping organisations improve.
Dawn is a qualified finance professional with more than 27 years of experience in senior NHS leadership roles. She has worked at board level across large NHS organisations and has held both Director and Deputy Chief Executive positions. In these roles, she has led major programmes to improve services, strengthen financial performance and support organisational change.
Before joining Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, Dawn helped lead the successful merger of Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals to create East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This gave her valuable experience of leading large-scale change and working across health systems.
Dawn works closely with colleagues and partners to deliver better services. She has led work on corporate strategy, organisational performance, financial improvement and service transformation, always with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for patients and staff.
