The Freedom of Information Act gives you the right to request recorded information held by public bodies, including the NHS Essex Integrated Care Board.
You can request information about:
- the way decisions are made
- policies and procedures
- statistics, reports, and performance data
- spending, contracts and procurement
- organisational structures and governance
We already publish a wide range of information on our website through our Publication Scheme. Many questions can be answered without needing to submit an FOI request.
If you do need to make a request, it must:
- be in writing
- include your name and a contact address (email is fine)
- describe the information you are looking for
We will respond within 20 working days. Some information may be exempt, for example if it relates to personal data, national security, or commercial confidentiality.
