Maternity vaccinations in north east Essex
Vaccinations when you are pregnant help protect both mother and baby during pregnancy by reducing the risk of serious infections such as flu, whooping cough and RSV. By having recommended vaccines at the right time in pregnancy, mothers pass vital antibodies to their baby, offering protection during the first weeks and months of life.

If you live in the Braintree district (including Halstead and Witham) and are having your baby with Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, you can access vaccination clinics through maternity services.
These clinics offer an opportunity to speak with healthcare professionals, ask any questions you may have, and receive recommended vaccines during your pregnancy.
The clinic is located in Zone A, by the entrance to the maternity ward.

School-age vaccination services
