Dr Alice Parr is a GP working in North East Essex and a Cancer Clinical Lead for NHS Essex. She has a special interest in women’s health and cancer care.
Alice is committed to improving patient access to NHS services. This includes supporting work that allows people to book directly into the right service online for some conditions, instead of needing to call or wait for a first appointment.
She is focused on helping more people get checked for cancer early. When cancer is found early, it is often easier to treat and outcomes are better.
Over the past three years, Alice has worked closely on the Lung Cancer Screening Programme. This programme has helped hundreds of people in Essex start treatment sooner and improve their chances of recovery.
