Mark Bailham is a Non-Executive Member and Chair of the Commissioning, Quality and Resource Committee.
Mark Bailham is a Chartered Accountant with more than 35 years’ experience in senior roles within the financial services sector. His career has focused on compliance, financial crime, conduct and ethics across retail, corporate and investment banking.
Mark is a Non-Executive Member of the NHS Essex Integrated Care Board and Chair of the Business and Performance Committee.
Prior to his current role, Mark was an Associate Member of the NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board, where he served as Vice Chair of the Finance and Performance Committee. He also represented the ICB on the Council of Governors at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
Mark is also a Non-Executive Director at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, where he chairs the Audit and Assurance Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Trust’s Business and Performance Committee and the Cambridge Children’s Hospital Committee.
Alongside his NHS roles, Mark is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Clockwise Credit Union and acts as an adviser to the English Province of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans).
Earlier in his career, Mark served as a Non-Executive Director for Deutsche Bank Turkey and Deutsche Bank Russia.
His extensive experience in governance, financial oversight and risk management supports the Board in maintaining strong organisational performance, transparency and accountability.
