Dr Neha Issar-Brown is a Non-Executive Member and Chair of the System Quality Committee.
Neha is Chief Executive Officer of the British Pharmacological Society, a leading organisation advancing pharmacological research, education and prescribing competence globally. She is also Managing Director of BPS Assessment, which supports the development of safe and effective prescribing skills for medical and non-medical professionals worldwide.
Her career spans more than two decades across health, science, innovation and policy, with senior leadership experience across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors internationally. She has worked across high-, middle- and low-income countries, bringing deep understanding of the global health and research landscape and a strong commitment to evidence-informed decision-making that improves health outcomes.
Alongside her executive roles, Neha has served as a Non-Executive Director, board chair, advisor and trustee across the NHS, arts and education sectors, contributing to strategies on quality, equity, governance and system-wide improvement.
She brings a distinctive combination of scientific expertise, cross-sector leadership and experience across research, public health, innovation and community engagement.
