Beverley Flowers is the Executive Director of Neighbourhood Health at the NHS Essex Integrated Care Board, bringing extensive experience in system leadership, integration and place-based working.
Before this, Beverley worked at NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board, where she held the role of ICS Director of Integration and Systems Transformation from 2020. Prior to the establishment of the ICB, she was Accountable Officer for East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group between 2015 and 2020. She also acted as Joint Interim Executive Lead for the Hertfordshire and West Essex Sustainability and Transformation Partnership, successfully leading the partnership through its transition to Integrated Care System status.
Earlier in her career, Beverley held a range of commissioning, partnership and contracting roles within NHS England and across health and social care organisations in London and the East of England. She brings significant expertise in system transformation, partnership working and neighbourhood development.
Beverley is particularly committed to improving the quality and responsiveness of learning disability services. She is also a strong advocate for the voluntary sector and for the vital contribution of carers, championing approaches that support communities to stay healthy and well.
